In order for us to care for your pet, we require that you satisfy and maintain some basic requirements which help to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved. These basic requirements are checked upon entry to our service and periodically as we continue to work with your pets.
In order to receive our care, we strictly require that your pet has current Council Registration, in compliance with Victorian State Law (Domestic Animals Act 1994). You must pay your Registration renewal every year before the due date, and your pet's Council Registration tag must be displayed on their collar at all times.
You can create and renew Pet Registration for your pet by visiting your Council's website, or contacting them directly.
Please note that we are unable to take your dog off your property unless your dog is displaying their Council tag, and you have provided us with their Council "animal number" or "animal ID" (displayed on your Council Pet Registration invoice).
Pet Registration is periodically checked by Animal Management Officers in local parks and other public areas. There are extremely heavy penalties for having unregistered pet (up to $500 plus Registration cost).
